I had an entertaining time with the interesting and challenging puzzles, races and quests, and attention: not dull or childish at all! I say this because at a first glance, Barbie Adventure Riding Club seems a game for kids and little girls, due to the presence of this popular Doll, but things are different, and not you might expect concerning it. The controls while riding the horse imply simplistic actions, like making it jump, steering, and adjusting the speed. So, girls around the world, take part of the fantasy adventure and race, discover and learn with Barbie! This game is great for those that want to play something educational and nonviolent. Our daughter was devastated! We thought she'd stop asking about the game since it was no longer available on the market and couldn't find it anywhere.For all the girls that have grown with Barbie, and not only themīarbie Adventure Riding Club is a 2003 adventure game for all the girls that have grown with their favourite doll and fashion icon, Barbie! This beauty goddess will take care of and ride four different horses (a gray, white, paint, and palomino, these being the breeds). The disc accidently broke 1 1/2 years ago. We haven't been able to find anyone who's gone further than we have on the last trail. This is a mystery game, help Barbie find Lucky the missing horse. But it was actually the least fun of all the trails. We were expecting to find a new level or something special. You can go to the middle and find something at the gazebo, but that seems to be the end of the game. The one thing we were disappointed in was the last trail. They are fairly quick, but allow for 2 people to play at the same time. There are also 3 other 1 to 2 player games that can be played with this disc.
Sometimes Barbie can also race her friend Chrissy over a trail. The trails are all beautiful! There are also "clock" races on the trails where Barbie needs to find all the clocks within a certain period of time. Each trail is somewhat different from the other. When her horse's "friendship meter" gets low, Barbie can pet her horse or feed him some carrots along the trail to bring the meter up again.īarbie can wash her horse in streams or back at the stables, change her horse's color, riding tack, and her own clothing too! The fun is endless! There are several different horses for Barbie to personalize.Īs you complete the tasks from the first t rail (finding at least the foals and the horse), you unlock the second trail, and so on. She can also pick up fruit to feed the wild animals and keep them away from her horse. Barbie rides her horse thru a trail to find 6 foals and a wild horse, 200 coins, some presents, sugar cubes, and keys to unlock gates on each trail. The best part about this game is that is not violent in any way. Pick out a cute outfit for our horse rider for their fun day together. Today theyre taking part in a horse jumping competition at the stables. This girl has become best friends with her horse and they love to go riding together.
